Dale Bakke, Technical Director
Dale has been involved with the milk replacer industry in his home state of Wisconsin as well as nationally for over 30 years. His journey began with his experience in dairy farming and continued when working as a farm manager responsible for the care of 2,300 milk fed veal calves.
As an animal scientist, he has been responsible for research related to the feed, nutrition and well-being of the animals. His extensive career includes serving as a company manager with oversight of all business operations from raising calves to feed processing to quality assurance to milk replacer marketing.
He enjoys volunteering at his church and with the American Veal Association where he is currently serving as the Association’s President. He enjoys staying physically active through participating in running and bicycling.
Dale joined the Strauss Team in 2018 and appreciates working with the exceptional customer focused team and its distinctive attention to quality. He looks forward to meeting our customers and supporting their animal nutrition requirements.
